Happy Birthday to...............Danny Peacock
The Western Suburbs Magpies would like to wish former player Danny Peacock a happy birthday on March 4th.
Danny was one of several young Queenslanders recruited by coach Laurie Frier in 1988. Originally from Toowoomba, Danny was a quick footed winger/fullback but made his first grade debut as a centre in
round 1 against Penrith in 1988. In all the played 49 first grade games for the magpies, including all 22 rounds in 1988, scoring 9 tries between 1988-1990. He then joined the Gold Coast Seagulls in 1991 where
he was their leading tryscorer in 1992 with 6 tries and 1995 with 14 tries and the South QLD Crushers in 1996 before ending his playing days in England with Bradford where he won a Super League title in 1997
and scored a try for Bradford in their Challenge Cup Final loss to St Helens in 1997.
