2GB on board for VB NSW Cup Final Series

Sydney’s most popular radio station, 2GB, has today confirmed its high rating sports show, The Continuous Call, will broadcast weeks two and three of the VB NSW Cup Final Series live across their network.

Ray Hadley, Andrew Moore, Bob Fulton, Darryl Brohman and Steve ‘Blocka’ Roach will broadcast their full Sunday show from Leichhardt Oval as they cover one of the most anticipated VB NSW Cup Final Series in recent years.

“We certainly appreciate Ray and his team taking time to cover the VB NSW Cup Final Series,” NSWRL General Manager Geoff Carr said.

“We have had a great response from the fans when the Continuous Call team have covered the final series in the past two seasons.

“The league has put a lot of time and resources into the VB NSW Cup and when a radio station with the reputation 2GB have want to call your games, you can see the hard work is coming to fruition.

The VB NSW Cup Final Series will begin with double headers at venues across NSW on the weekend of September 8 with Weeks two and three held at Leichhardt Oval.

The VB NSW Cup Grand Final will once again be shown on NRL Grand Final day at ANZ Stadium.

There is still plenty more action ahead of the Final Series with the inaugural ‘Family Round Double Headers’ in Round 21. WIN Stadium Wollongong, North Sydney Oval and Ringrose Park will host Sunday afternoon double headers with matches kicking off at 12.45pm and 3pm.
